Plain English about what we collect, why, and who sees it. Effective September 2026.
This policy covers expertsofinsurance.com, operated by Experts of Insurance, the online arm of Signature Insurance Agency ("we," "us"). We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past — it's short, and it says what we actually do.
We collect the information you give us when you use this site:
We don't ask for, and you shouldn't enter, sensitive personal information this site doesn't need — no Social Security numbers, no bank logins, no health details.
Insurance carriers. To produce a quote, your quote information is shared with the insurance carriers we work with — that's how quoting works. Carriers use it to evaluate and price your risk under their own underwriting rules and privacy policies.
Service providers. We use ordinary business tools — hosting, email, analytics, our agency management system — that process data on our behalf to run this site and our agency.
Legal requirements. We'll disclose information if a law, regulation, subpoena, or insurance regulator requires it.
We do not sell your personal information. Not to lead brokers, not to marketers, not to anyone. The only people who contact you about a quote you start here are our own licensed agents and, where needed to place your coverage, the carriers involved.
This site may use cookies and analytics tools to remember your progress in a quote, measure how the site is used, and improve it. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though a saved quote may not resume automatically.
We keep quote information as long as it's useful for helping you get covered and as long as insurance regulations require us to keep records. If you never become a client, quote data is eventually retired from active use. If you'd like your contact information removed from our follow-up list sooner, ask — see below.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information you send us — encrypted connections to this site and access controls on our systems. No website can promise perfect security, but we treat your information the way we'd want ours treated.
This site is for business insurance buyers and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes won't apply retroactively to information collected under the old policy without telling you.
